Fans get their first look at Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

The Man of Steel has landed! Warner Bros. has released the first photograph of actor Henry Cavill as Superman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. After rumors of a slight costume change it appears that Superman's outfit has remained relatively unchanged for this film. The lines on the side of Superman's stomach are changed slightly and the "belt" seems a little more square. But those aren't big changes. The forearm also has slight changes in those line details as well.

The photograph was published by USA Today who had the chance to talk to director Zack Snyder about the film. When asked about the controversial "v" in the title he had this to say,
"The director can't say exactly how the relationship between the two superheroes evolves, "but suffice it to say there is a 'v' in between their names" in the movie title, Snyder says. He explains that having the "v" instead of "vs." is a way "to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way.""
This seems like he is just trying to cover a dumb mistake on his part because when you speak the movie title you are saying "Batman versus Superman". In the end he leaves off with a simple, yet true, statement.
"You can talk all you want about other superhero movies, but it's Batman and Superman, let's just be honest," Snyder says. "I don't know how you get bigger than that."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be in theaters on May 6, 2016.
