Marvel teases the return of "Civil War" comics in 2015!

Marvel Comics has just released an all new image that teases the return of the "Civil War" comics. The teaser image (seen to the right) features Iron Man and Captain America pulling on the arms of Iron Spider in different directions. The teaser image tells fans to expect Civil War in the summer of 2015.

The original series ran from 2006-2007 and was written by Mark Millar. It saw the creation of the Superhero Registration Act, which forced anyone with superhuman abilities to reveal their true identities to the U.S. government and then agree to act act as a special forces type organization for the police. Iron Man supports this act while Captain America opposes it. From here the Marvel universe between widely split and the resulting battles had ramifications in the Marvel Universe for years.

With the recent news that Robert Downy Jr. will be appearing in Captain America 3, many fans are speculating that Cap's new film could be the start of the Civil War story line and that this new run of the comics will serve to introduce the story to a new generation of readers. What do you think?
