Warner Bros and DC Entertainment officially announce their DC film line up through to 2020!

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have just made every DC fans day! They have officially announced their DC film lineup and it has a few things we expected and a few pleasant surprises in it!

Take a look at the DC film lineup from 2016 through to 2020 below!
"2016
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” — As previously reported, it will star Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and will feature cameos by other superheroes. Zack Snyder is directing.
“Suicide Squad” — Directed by David Ayer (“Fury,” “End of Watch”), and the cast is yet to be announced. The comic book features a team of semi-reformed super villains working for the government. The team previously appeared in CW’s “Arrow” series, which is based on the Green Arrow character.
2017
“Wonder Woman” — Starring Gadot in the first ever major superhero film focused on a female character.
“Justice League” — DC Comics’ own super team and a rival to Marvel and Disney's wildly lucrative “Avengers.” Also directed by Snyder, it will star Cavill, Affleck, Gadot and others. Initially, it was reported that we might not see this movie before 2018.
2018
“The Flash” — Starring Ezra Miller (“The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” “We Need to Talk About Kevin”) as the super-speedster. This is a different version of the character on the new CW TV show starring Grant Gustin in the title role.
“Aquaman” — Starring Jason Momoa (“Conan,” “Game of Thrones”) as the king of the high seas who can breathe underwater and communicate telepathically with sea creatures.
2019
“Justice League 2” — No further details, other than that Snyder will return to direct this installment.
“Shazam” — Dwayne Johnson will play villain Black Adam in this story of a boy transformed by a wizard into a super-man.
2020
“Cyborg” — starring Ray Fisher as the superhero who’s half man, half robot.
“Green Lantern” — A reboot about the man who can transform his will into reality with a ring created by aliens. A 2011 movie starring Ryan Reynolds was a flop.
There will also be new standalone films about Superman and Batman, the studio said."
That is quite an impressive lineup! I'm hoping that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment can deliver some solid films with this batch and put some great stories on the screen. From this announcement we also get confirmation that Jason Mamoa will be playing Aquaman and that Ezra Miller will be suiting up as The Flash! Also, a Suicide Squad film? Awesome!

Are you excited to see the lineup that was announced?
