Dragon Ball Z live action fan film pilot for "Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope" puts the 2009 film to shame!

Machinima, along with creater "RobotUnderdog2", has been developing a Dragon Ball Z project called "Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope" and they have officially released the pilot for the web series. I never got into Dragon Ball Z myself, and the awful 2009 film didn't help interest me, but I cannot deny how great this video looks. I know for certain that fans of the franchise will really enjoy it. The costumes look perfect, the visuals and special effects are fantastic, and the big fight sequence was a lot of fun.

Film synopsis:
"Hope is worth fighting for. In Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope, Gohan and Trunks fight against the unstoppable Androids #17 and #18 and try to save as many human lives as possible. The young Trunks must grow up quickly and learn from his mentor, Gohan; but with battles to fight on both the outside and inside, how long can they endure, and where will they find a light of hope? This series is an adaptation of “The History of Trunks” TV Special. In this timeline, Goku and the other Z Warriors are dead. This is the story of Gohan and Trunks in their battle to survive against the Androids."
