Warner Bros. CEO says DC films will stand out from Marvel due to their realism and edgy nature.

Warner Bros. and DC are currently trying to build their own cinematic universe similar to how Marvel created their Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although Marvel spent years developing their characters in individual films before they all came together in The Avengers. Warner Bros. and DC on the other hand will be throwing many of their heroes in the same film for the first time in the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

This may be a similar idea but far from the way that Marvel successfully created their cinematic universe. So what makes DC films stand out against Marvel's? Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara seems to think it is DC's diversity, "realism" and "edgier" nature.
"“The worlds of DC are very different,” he said. “They’re steeped in realism, and they’re a little bit edgier than Marvel’s movies.”"

Does the diversity of characters and the universe's realism and edgy nature draw you to DC films over Marvel?
