David Duchovny confirms that Walter Skinner and the Cigarette Smoking Man will return in The X-Files!
It was recently announced that The X-Files would be returning to Fox for a 6 episode event with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning to reprise their roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully respectively. While appearing on the Laste Show with David Letterman, David Duchovny confirmed that Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and the Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis) will also be returning to the show!
This is pretty big news as those characters were integral parts of the show and the Cigarette Smoking Man was one of the creepiest parts of the show. He was great. Are you excited to see two more series alumni returning for the new 6 episode event?
