Gary Anthony Williams is cast as Bebop in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2!


Paramount Pictures and director David Green have just announced another casting choice for the upcoming film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2!

The new announcement revealed that actor Gary Anthony williams (The Internship, The Boondocks) has been cast as the villainous henchman Bebop! In the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe, Bebop is a mutated warthog who works for Shredder, the Turtles arch villain, and fights the Turtles along side his partner Rocksteady, who is a mutated rhinoceros. 

Deadline made the report of the new casting and gave the following description:
"In TMNT 2, he’ll start off as a punk street thug member of a ragtag gang of misfits who acts as if he’s intellectually superior, but isn’t."
Thereis currently no word on who will play Rocksteady but it is a safe assumption that once the two characters are mutated into their animal form that they will be CGI.

As a life long fan of the Ninja Turtles I am excited to see Bebop and Rocksteady on the big screen and am fine with this casting. It is way too early to make any real judgements until we see what the character will look like in the film. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will be in theaters on June 3, 2016.
